League Information DFAC basketball will set up leagues for both boys and girls currently in grades 1-8. For our Winter 2010 Leagues, all games will be played in January, February and March of 2010. Most games will be played on Saturdays between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm in one of the gyms at either Cactus Shadows High School, Desert Arroyo Middle School, Sonoran Trails Middle School or Black Mt. Elementary. Some games may also be played on weeknights. Official dates and times will be made available at a later date. Teams will be selected via a league draft and no requests can be accepted for team selections or placement with friends. The only exceptions are; the child of each coach will be placed on that coaches team and siblings from the same family will be placed on the same team (if they are in the same age group) unless otherwise requested. Get involved in Desert Foothills Basketball There are many areas that we need help and support. Most people think that if they don’t coach they probably can’t be involved in the league. Quite the opposite. We need help in many areas including coordinators for all three gyms, uniforms, trophies, scheduling, league communications, practice setup, special events, fund raising, registration and referees. |
