What’s up next in DFAC Soccer?
The Jr. Elite School of Excellence Program for U6/7/8 & U9/10 age groups kicks off in January to provide increased player opportunities for skills enhancement.

    How can I participate?
Players can be referred by their coach, by a DFAC Pro trainer, or any player who just enjoys soccer and wants to enhance their skills can nominate themselves!  All you need to do is email the Club, dfacsoccer@hotmail.com with player’s name, birth date and phone number, and you will be added to the contact list.

What is the Jr. Elite School of Excellence?
The Jr. Elite Program is an introduction to the Developmental /Competitive soccer program of Desert Foothills Athletic Club (DFAC).  It is designed for players who enjoy the sport of soccer and are seeking an opportunity to take their skills and teamwork to a higher level.  Desert Elite Programs focus on the acquisition of skills, the importance of sportsmanship and the power of teamwork – lessons for soccer and life!  The new program is divided in two parts:

Introductory Phase - This phase will consist of four one-hour training sessions focusing on skill evaluation and enhancement while introducing young players to our professional training staff.  This phase will begin in January and there will be no charge to player.
Skills Enhancement Phase – This phase will be a total of six weeks and is designed for players who decide to continue developing their skills and enjoy working with our Pro trainers.  This phase begins early in February and will cost $50 (includes Jr. Elite T-shirt).

How does a player join the Desert Elite program if they enjoyed the Jr. Elite School of Excellence?  In May, all Desert Elite teams begin the team selection process for players U7 & up.  At that point, players in the Jr. Elite program will have the advantage of professional training and be on their way.
